Just a note of thanks to all who participated at Milton and made the event one of the more memorable events in some while. I personally had a fantastic time with the group and wish to thank all of the guys in the 10th. that made my job easy and created a force to be reckoned with. Onward to Zoar now and hope to see the same eagerness and commitment from all who attend. Thanks once again. Ist Sargeant Wood.

In regards to my last post I failed to mention the great leadership of the commanding officers. My hat is off to them all. I also wish to thank Lt. Watson and his lovely wife for the hospitality shown to us all Sat. evening. Accolades to Miss Annabelle also for the great job done with the hospitality table and her dedication to us and the ACWHRS. We can not go wrong with the dedicated people we have in this hobby. Thank you also to the event organizers as without them this all could not take place. Again Thank you all . (I am at work so may take a nap now. lol.) Ist Sargeant Wood.

Thanks 1st Sgt. for your wonderful remarks, you too banjoman. The singing on Sat. night was wonderful too!!!! Great to see all your wonderful faces!!! Between book sale and personal donations, another 5 markers will be going up in Hollywood Cemetery, including one for Donaldsonville Artillery, thanks to Jim Clement and family!!! Thanks all you are the best!!! Love you all!!! See you all at Zoar if I can get out of jury duty!!!! Wish me luck!!!
I will have to agree with you all. A good event, by and large. Bob - I know you say that we make you look good, but we are indeed only as good as our command structure can allow us... My hat is off to all who participated this year. It's always good to see everyone, particularly those we only see once a year! Congratulations to you all. Miss Annabelle, don't you forget you are needed by the men! If getting out of jury duty is required, just don't get yourself arrested for contempt of court! See you soon!

Thank you Matt, and well said Sgt. Wood, sometimes things just seem to go wrong but we have to learn to live with it and just try to get by without and you know what, we still have fun. So Matt, thanks.
